A very special thank you to Veteran Mortgage. Especially to Erik Fries, James Heald and Alyson McCreery. They were very professional and were able to get us the best rates for our refi. We highly recommend this company.

I refinanced with your company over 4 years ago and worked with Erik at that time. He spoke with me about refinancing again, and diligently worked with me to obtain the lowest rates. I am truly satisfied and grateful with the loan I received. Thanks Erik .

Rudi Heald gave me 5 star service. He was always available to answer all my questions. Another lender told me I couldn't qualify but Veteran Mortgage closed the loan. Rudi also helped me find a home and was able to get me over $10,000. in credits to buy a home. I recommend Rudi for both a loan and finding a home.

I worked with James, and he's obviously a pro. I always got an honest answer even when it wasn't what I wanted to hear. But I was a challenging client, and James got the deal done when the previous guy couldn't. I recommend these guys without hesitation.

I did a refinance with them last year and they were wonderful. Mortgage loans are usually a grueling process to endure, but these folks made it easy, easy, easy. Jim, Erik and Alyson are my heroes. I'm doing a new loan with them again to reduce my payments even further. You can be confident with their services!!

I had a fantastic experience with Veteran Mortgage. I was declined by 4 other VA lenders and Jim the Sr. VA home loan specialist was able to put together a plan to get me approved! Jim and his staff know what they are doing and I could tell they had a lot more experience than the other VA lenders. We ended up with a lower interest rate and Veteran Mortgage paid all our closing costs. Both Jim and our loan processor were always available to answer our calls and were very patient in explaining clearly the whole process of obtaining a VA Mortgage.

James Heald and Erik Fries are great to work with and I would highly recommend their services to anyone considering a home mortgage loan to purchase or refinance. James and his staff worked with me step by step though the VA purchase loan process and later helped me refinance to drop my interest rate for free. They made it easy, quick, and they were able to help me get a great interest rate 100% FREE. Thank you again James & Erik I'm recommending you to all my family and friends.

Let me start out with saying this, Before the housing market bust and all the sub prime loans that were approved, getting a home loan or doing a refinance was a quite a chore and very time consuming but was possible. Now its complete HELL, The lenders want blood, urine and sperm samples, they put you through flaming hoops, they ask for week to week changes in all of your your finances, every document has to be perfect all T,s crossed I,s dotted, they ask for stuff thats so out dated it doest even seem relevant, they want to know stuff about you only your mother knows or maybe even God, its a process that made me angry and frustrated it took over 6 months to do a refi, i was ready to give up on the whole thing more than once. I want to be clear here all the problems were NOT caused or created by the mortgage broker (Veteran Mortgage) but the LENDER and the government regulations that they are now guided by. So here is the good part, Erik Fries and Allison worked there tails off for us, i know that they were frustrated too with the endless phone calls Emails and faxes, They were confident that they could make this happen regardless of any obstacles the lender through at us. Even at the end when our rate lock was about to expire a few more unexpected issues popped up, we were down to the wire it almost seemed hopeless, but they stuck it out and got it approved in the final hour. I believe that most other lenders would have given up months earlier and created an excuse not to finish our loan and walked away, it just would not have been worth there time. So i give Erik and Allison of V.M. 5 stars, two thumbs up, and an A+. Thanx Guys for all your hard work.

I being a Vietnam veteran was lucky to hook up with Jim Heald and Alyson who were both on the ball with my loan and got me the best rate available. They are both extremely quality and qualified professionals and if they don't have an answer right then, they will go the extra mile for you to get it as promptly as possible. Jim is a straight shooter and doesn't shoot from the hip. As a veteran, I was treated with dignity and care, so my vet brothers and sisters, if you need help with your loan or new purchase come see Jim. I found my new home with Veteran Mortgage and I'll be here as long as they can help me.

Jim Heald and his staff have created an honest straightforward mortgage company, that keeps your interests and goals at the forefront of their business. It is truly all about serving you, the client, first and foremost. I've worked with Jim at a different mortgage company. He is an oddity. .. he is an honest, caring, good natured mortgage advisor! Here's my story.
My partner received a call from an online mortgage company and decided to give it a try (refinance with cash out). By the end of the ordeal we were faced with receiving $8k back, along with owing $18k in fees? WHAT? So, I called Jim Heald and he asked us to send him the paper work. He would tell us what was going on. That company was all about fees, fees and more fees. We would have owed more on our mortgage to the tune of $26k and change and only getting $8k back in cash.
Jim and staff were able to work with lenders so we are now receiving $26k out in cash and paying NO FEES!!!!
It might not work out that way for everyone but isn't extra cash in your pocket worth a phone call?
